Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I've been have computer problems, so it's been hard for me to make blog posts. My computer is sort of dying and it's been super slow connecting to the internet recently. So, I had to figure out a way to upload pictures and posts from my ipad! Don't worry I found a way. Hopefully, I'll get a new computer soon. On the other hand, school starts next week for me! I'll try super hard to maintain a 1-3 posts a week routine.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed this! This was my first time trying to take decent makeup pictures; it took a lot of shots before I got it right. Oh yeah I almost forgot I was recently nominated for the Liebster award again twice by TaniaScott at the taniadiaries.blogspot.com and Lara Scott at Youandmebeauty.blogspot.com. I've actually already accepted the Liebster award. But do check these bloggers out!

Back To School Shoes!

I don't know about you but I have a slight obsession with shoes. Over the years I've accumulated a lot of shoes since my feet stopped growing in 8th grade. Anyways these are just the normal everyday shoes that I think you should own for school! They go with anything! Converse, Toms, Sperrys, and Oxfords!

The black converse is definitely a staple! Do you guys want to know a fun fact? Well those black converse weren't mine to begin with. They were actually my brother's! He only wore them for a few months until he grew out of them, since he's in his growth spurt now. So he just gave them to me! At the time we were the same shoe size. I wear the black converse a lot more than the green ones because they're a lot easier to match. The other pair to the left is also converse brand but it's not the normal kind. It's kind of like a knock off version of vans! I love them too anyways; they were on sale for like $30 and I had a $15 dollar off coupon so I basically bought them for $15!

Toms! I love toms! I own two pairs. They are soo comfy and perfect for everyday just like converse. They're so easy to slip on and just run out the door on with. I have the chambray and snow leopard version. Personally I like wearing the snow leopard in the winter because I find it easier to match outfits with and I like wearing the chambray one in the summer! The reason why I don't like wearing the chambray one in the winter is because I basically live in jeans in the winter and I don't like the look of jean on jean. But this year I'm gonna be on the look for some black skinny jeans and more leggings so I can wear them!

Sperrys! Who doesn't love sperrys? I have the Angelfish version in the tweed kind I think. I kind of want the normal version, but they're super expensive :/ But I must say they're such good quality. I've had this pair for two years and the soles don't look worn out at all.

Oxfords! Aren't these oxfords cute? I got them Necessary Clothing for $16 They are the cutest pair ever. The cutouts make it so classy. I know these shoes are more spring, but they're a good transitioning piece for the Fall! I do wear them occasionally with dresses in the winter with tights too. The only problem is is that my toes get frozen since there are cutouts in them.

Thanks for reading!

Oh and sorry for that these pics are kind of terrible especially the last three. I accidentally took these pics on "tungsten" setting when really it should have been daytime. I had to mess around with the lighting while editing. I was also in a hurry while taking these pics so some of them aren't even in focus. Yeah not my best work :/

Next time I'll do better! Pinky promise! I think I'll make a future post for Fall boots! Let me know if you'd be interested!

Empties #1!!

Hi Lovelies!

Today I'm doing my first empties post!! I was actually really close to throwing these bottles out until it just dawned on me that I should do an empties blog post! I thought about it and I figured might as well do one now since I probably won't be able to do another one for another few months. So I actually had to dig threw my trash to look for the empty bottles! No worries though I rinsed them before I taking these pictures!

St. Ives Apricot Scrub: This is my second empty bottle and I really love this. I don't know if you guys remember this or not but at some point this was really big in YouTube; everybody and their mothers was seriously raving about it. But then all of sudden people started hating on because it was apparently too abrasive and it was damaging you skin. Well I have no clue if it really does that, but for me personally I really like this product! I have super oily skin and I find that if I use this once or twice a week it just helps to clean everything out, so I can have a fresh start! I'm definitely going to continue buying this. I think next time I'm going to try the Green Tea scrub!

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Cleanser: If you are a subscriber to Seventeen Magazine then you would know what this is. It's literally spammed in all the issues of Seventeen Magazine. I use this in my morning skincare routine which you can read here. I've actually tried the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub and went through two bottles of that stuff. Since I loved that scrub so much I decided to try this cleanser. My thoughts? I find this to be really potent. It's suppose to treats acne, so it has 2% salicylic acid. That's more than my Clean and Clear toner (for sensitive skin) and my toner has only 0.5%. Nevertheless, I still like this product! It smells exactly like pink grapefruit I  it works really well in combination with the Clean and Clear toner (for sensitive skin). If you were to buy this just be aware that it does contain a lot of salyicylic acid which means it can be a bit drying for you. So I would follow up with a toner that is not as strong.

Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner: Alright this is like my third or fourth bottle and it's literally my favorite conditioner of all time! If you want to read about my hair care routine you can read about it here. Whenever I use this I never need to reach for Aussie 3 minute Miracle deeeep conditioner. Also, I don't have to fill my entire hand with conditioner. I just deed maybe a dollop (2 tablespoons?) and I'm good. So yeah my favorite and holy grail conditioner of all time!

Got2b Smooth Operator Smoothing Lustre Lotion: This product smells like heaven! If you see this in the store just smell it it smells so good! If there was a perfume in this scent I would totally buy it! Unfortunately there isn't :( Anyways I love this product and it lasted me for almost two years! I bought this in my Sophomore year and now I'm going into my Senior year of high school!  I use this right after I wash my hair and I put about a pea size amount in my hair from the ears down. It also doubles as a heat protectant too. I also love using this whenever I curl my hair. I don't like the super ringlety curls so I smooth this over to make the curls a bit looser. It's not super thick, so it won't weigh your hair down or anything, it's just perfect! I'm already on my second bottle of this too:)

Hope you enjoyed!

Benefit's Primping With the Stars Review

Hey Everybody!

Today I'm reviewing the Benefit Primping with Star's Box set. I've actually had this for quite some time now. I got this back in March and I bought it because I thought it would be the perfect little set that I can use for Prom. Not only that, but I get to try out all these products that people have been raving about for so long like Benetint, Porefessional primer, and especially the They're Real Mascara. I think this box set basically covers everything except eye shadow but you can definitely use the Girl Meets Pearl highlighter as an eye shadow too for just a suddle glow. Anyways my thoughts on this? Totally worth every penny! For $32 you get 6 high end products and if you don't like one of them it's okay! Because now you know next time not to buy the full size! And for the ones that you do like you now know that you're getting your moneys worth if you were to buy it full-size. Personally I loved everything in this kit! The mascara is unbelievable and primer is amazing as well! Girl Meets pearl is also a really pretty golden highlighter and Benetint adds a nice suddle pink color to the cheeks and lips! However, the primer and foundation were ahmazing. They worked great but I don't think I'll be re-purchasing them anytime soon. The primer I find is just like any other primer and right now I'm happy with my Urban Decay Primer Potion and Elf $1 eyelid primer. The foundation I actually really like! I think most people won't like it thought because it is super low coverage but it works for me! The only problem with this foundation is that it's $30 for the full size. Although I'm pretty happy with my Covergirl foundation which is about 1/3 of the price. All in all the kit is great! I recommend anybody who venturing out into buying some high products to buy this!

My Favorite Masks!

Hi Everyone!
Today I'm sharing my two masks that I love to use besides my trusty and all-time favorite aspirin mask which you can read my post on it here.

So my first favorite is this Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask. What's great about this is that it's both a cleanser and a mask! As a mask this stuff is super strong, I can feel it tingle on face (almost kind of like a minty refreshing like feel) when I leave it on. It's a white paste and I just slather this all over my face. Now I love using this right before I take a shower and I normally leave it on for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I hop into the shower and let the steam sink in to my skin and I rinse it from there. This cleanser/mask uses benzoyl peroxide which sometimes helps to just switch things up a bit from salicylic acid since most of my other face products uses that. Oh and sometimes if I sometimes use this just on my nose or use it as a spot treatment and I would leave it on for 15 minutes too!

Next, is more refreshing or pick-me-up kind of mask. It doesn't treat acne, but it "clarifies & renews skin".  It's the Freeman Facial Peel-Off Mass in Cucumber. This stuff is great for when you want kind of treat yourself. It's super inexpensive too ( i think it's around $6). I just slather it on to my face too and I make sure to apply an even layer so it drys evenly too. After about 10 minutes it or so it hardens and I can't move my face! It gives off a nice cooling feeling and the best part is peeling it off. It's so cool to peel it off and look at the peel. It leaves my skin feeling really soft and refreshed! Definitely check this out if you can!

Hope you enjoyed!

Liebster Award!!

Hi Guys!

Recently I've just been nominated for the Liebster award the lovely BeccaHearts and MarniMay! Thank You so much ahhhh I really appreciate it! This award is passed on from blog to blog and the idea of this award is to help people find new blogs! This award is only awarded for those who have under 200 followers. It's great way to help new blogs gain some recognition :)

Here are the Rules:

1.)  You must link back to the person who followed you.
2.)  You must answer the 11 liebster questions given to you by the nominee before you.
3.)  You must nominate 11 bloggers with under 200 followers.
4.)  You must come up with 11 questions for your nominees to answer.
5.)  You must go to your nominees blog and notify them.

BeccaHearts's Questions:

1. Which is the best place you've ever visited?

Okay so I've actually never been out of North America. I've pretty just been in America my whole life except one time I visited Canada.  Honestly, I don't think I've visited anyplace that great.  Aside from amusement parks and stuff that's about it.  I haven't seen anything mind blowing yet so I'm gonna have come back to this question later in the future :)

2. Who is your celebrity crush?

After watching The Proposal I'd have to say Ryan Reynolds.

3. Who was your favourite band as a kid?

ahh One Direction!  Actually I was a huge fan of them last year. I've been to two of their concerts haha and I went to a CD signing! But I think my obsession for them has died down now.

I took this when I went to their CD signing!

4. If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be?

hmm... maybe Ann Shoket who is editor-in-chief of Seventeen magazine? I'd really like to meet her or maybe Bobbi Brown. They're both so inspirational. But then again I think I'd be in such a shock that I probably wouldn't be able to say anything haha.

5. What is your make up bag essential item?

Definitely concealer or blotting papers. I get so oily it's not even funny.

6. Which beauty skill do you wish you could be better at?

Bronzer. I look like an orange mess. ugh it's not good. I can only get away with wearing a tiny bit or else I look really orange. I've been using the NYC bronzer, but i think for me it's too orange-y.

7. Would you rather have a shopping spree or a holiday?

shopping spree! lol I'm still in school so holidays or breaks come every now and then but not shopping sprees.

8. What is your favourite animal?

I really like puppies.

Just look at those eyes <3 td="">

9. What is your party trick?

i'm stumped... I don't think I have one

10. What's your favourite TV show?

I've been watching pretty little liars lol but I guess my all time favorite show is Friends!

11. What is your ultimate guilty pleasure?

Starbucks Frappes, Reese's Chocolates Peanut Butter Cups, Oreos, and Youtube Beauty Videos.

MarniMay's Questions:

1.Which beauty item will I always find in your handbag?

Concealer! I don't have a favorite at the moment yet though, but when I do I will be sure do mention it!

2.What is your go-to makeup brand?

Wet n' Wild

3.If you had to, which item in your makeup bag would you sacrifice?

I would probably sacrifice my lipsticks. I don't really care for lip products too much.

4.Which item in your wardrobe makes you feel most confident?

Combat boots from Aldo (Aukes) !

5.) Do you stick to fashion trends, or stick to your trusty favourites?

I think i'd have to say my favorites, although fashion tends do grown on me. For example, I couldn't fathom the idea of top knots as a trend or high waisted jeans, but now I really want a pair of high waisted jeans and I wear top knots too.

6.What are your views on the usage of sunbeds?

I've never gone bedtanning and I won't in the future. I prefer the actual sun :)

7.Floral crowns or floral garlands?

Neither.

8.What is your staple perfume/ body spray?

I have the Britney Spears Radiance perfume which I really like and for Body Spray I'd have to say Secret Wonderland from Bath and Body Works!

9. Is there any type of makeup you will not use? Why?

Self Tanner because I like tanning naturally better.

10.Would you spend over £50 on a high end beauty product? If you have, what is the item?

Okay in USD it's about $77

I don't I know a makeup product that's that expensive that I want, so probably not.

11.What is your favourite high street clothes store? Why?

My favorite high-end clothing stores would probably be J. Crew and Urban Outfitters.

GinerinGucci's Questions:

1. If you had to choose between fashion and beauty, which would you choose?

I don't have one.

8. What is your favorite beauty brand?

Including high end beauty, I'd have to pick Benefit!

9. If you could choose anyone to narrate your life, dead or alive, who would it be?

... A British person because I like British accents hehe or maybe an Austrailian guy. Australian accents are cool too!

10. What is your favorite kind of lip product?

Rimmel Kate Moss in 103

♥ Makeup Wishlist ♥

Details:

To continue on with my "Wishlist" theme in this Back To School here is my makeup wishlist. I'm probably not going to buy any of these items (maybe a revlon lip butter or mascara because they're the drugstore items), but really the other items are super pricey and I don't exactly need any of them. I have plenty of eye shadows and I'm fine with my Tweezerman eyelash curler right now. But a girl can have a list on the back of her mind right? Alright let me know if you have any of these products and if you think they're worth getting! Oh by the way have you guys tried the Lorac Pro to Go Palette? It's a little bit cheaper than the Lorac Pro Palette, so I'm not sure which one I would buy if I could. Anyways thanks for reading!

Reveiw: Elf Essential Duo Cream Eyeshadows

Hi Guys!
Today I'm reviewing a really old product for me and these are the Elf essentials duo cream shadows.  I've had these for almost a year now and you can tell that I barely ever use them. So first off the price these are only a $1. They're from the Elf essentials line and everything from that line I believe is only a buck. Okay so the two colors you see above are Berry Mix (Left) and Mocha Swirl (Right).

Berry Mix

Mocha Swirl

Side by side view

Okay so here's what I think about these products. The pigmentation is pretty good. Berry mix takes a little bit longer to swatch, but it's okay. As mocha swirl the brown is REALLY pigmented and so is the champagne color. If I had to choose between these to mocha swirl would be my favorite. Anyways lasting capability? Not so great. These products don't exactly dry, it just stays creamy. So it will defininitely come off. If you set it with an eyeshadow it might stay on a little longer, but because they are so creamy I think it would just smudge the entire eye look. I'm not sure about creasing because my monolids never have creasing issues, but I'm almost positive that these shadows will. Would I buy these again? Probably not. I think theses cream shadows would be good for maybe someone in middle school is just starting out, because you still do get color, but really I don't think they're something you should buy.

Pros:
Pigmented
Cheap

Cons:
Not long wearing
Smells kind of like crayons
Creases (Pretty sure)

Hope you find this helpful!

♥ Back To School Clothing Wishlist ♥

Details:

Hi Guys!

It's that time of the year where it's back to school season! I absolutely love back to school season; I always get this warm cozy feeling every year and it's the anticipation of school starting and fall coming up along with Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I find fall to be always so busy with the upcoming holidays and school starting -- I just LOVE it. So today I put together a collage of just all the things I want for this fall. I didn't research the fall trends or anything, but these are just all the pieces of clothing that I really want in my wardrobe.
1.) The American Eagle Army Jacket is super cute, but it's priced at $59.95! Yikes. I know. Yeah I'll be stalking the website to see if it's ever gonna go on sale, but for now it's just gonna be on this wishlist.
2.) I'm in desperate need a of a good cross body bag because I've been going out a lot lately and it's going to be my Senior year of high school which means I will probably be going out even more, especially during second semester. I don't actually have a purse that I use... I was basically anti-purse for a while until now. I don't know why I was, but now I really want one now, so I think the target one will be good one for me :)
3.) The chunky cardigan would be so cute with leggings and combat boots!
4.) A chunky sweater for the winter and of course with leggings too!
5.) I was actually a never big fan of high waisted jeans, but now they've grown on me. I actually have a really long torso, so most of my tops come a little bit high. So I always have to make sure I wear it with a cami underneath them, and with some tops it looks a bit awkward with a cami because it's just not meant to be worn with one. So yes a high waisted jeans is a must.
6.) Yes. Tights. Perfect to wear with dresses to be worn in the fall and winter. I have a Forever21 pair and they didn't last very long. Maybe like two uses and there are a bunch of rips. But I heard that the H&M ones are good ;)

Favorite Summer Scents!

Hello!

Here is a little collection of my go-to scents for the summer. I am actually a hoarder when it comes to Bath and Body Works fragrances. I mean how can you pass up on a buy 3 get 3 free sale with a $10 off coupon?!? Those pesky advertisements get to me so bad.
Right so my favorite scents here from Bath and Body Works are:

Coconut Mango
Country Chic
Sweet Pea
Coconut Lime Verbena
Mango Mandarin

I love pairing Coconut Lime Verbena lotion with the Coconut Mango Spray! That's by favorite combination so far for this summer.

I also love this other scent from Britney Spear's line called Radiance! It's a sweet scent fruity/floral scent and it's very fresh and clean too :)
