Those Lazy Summer Days..

Today's one of those rainy summer days. It's all cloudy outside and I can hear soft rain hit the pavement. During these days I love lying in bed with a book. So for today, I put together a cozy, comfortable outfit just for those rainy days when you want to stay inside an read a book or catch up on your blog list! Enjoy!

Pretty In Pink

Today's post is what I've been loving lately, but in PINK! Yup. All in Pink. Hope you all enjoy!

The Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in shade 103 is what I've been loving lately. I just bought it a week ago and it's the perfect shade of pink. It applies smoothly and it has pretty strong staying power. What I love about it is that I can tab on a tiny layer on and it gives my lips the most natural hint of color. However, I can also layer it on and get the same color shown in the tube. I seriously love this lipstick and I will definitely be trying more from this line!

The Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose Kiss is awesome for your lips as well. It leaves your lips soft and moisturized; perfect before going to bed. It also glides right on and the best part is is that once you apply with your fingers, it doesn't leave an oily sticky residue on your fingers. You can just rub your fingers together and the product dissolves into your skin and there's no need to wipe your fingers on a tissue or ahem your pants. Hehe

The Bed Head TIGI is amazing for you hair. I use it on damp hair and dry hair. When I use it on damp hair and blow dry my hair afterwords, I can still smell the nice scent that it leaves and it lingers in my hair throughout the day. It also softens and leaves my hair a little shinier than without the product in my hair. When I use it on dry hair, I normally use it when I had put my hair up in a bun and it dried all tangly with weird kinks on the end. I just put on a pea size amount, run it through my hair and it does the trick to tame it. When I use it my hair doesn't look so scragly and messy before. The bottle does look a little weird if you do know what I mean. LOL but that's besides the fact that the product is great and amazing.

During the summer, I adore fuschia colored nails on my toes. It looks great with gold sandals and without sandals too. My toes are basically fuschia the entire summer ever since I owned a fuschia colored nail polish since 8th grade. Well I discovered Essie's Fiesta last year and I love it. It's my go-to summer nail polish!

Summer Outfits!!!

Hi Everybody!

So today I put together two summer skater dress outfits. The first one is a little more on the expensive side; a perfect look for a lunch date or dinner and the second outfit is a budget friendly version! I personally love skater dresses and they are very flattering to the body. Enjoy!

My Top 5 Drugstore Products

Here's a basic list of my most favorite drugstore products!! They are my everyday makeup staples and I wear this natural makeup look all the time. This kit is totally affordable and I feel like it is an appropriate look for anybody just starting out with makeup.

These  products come down to approximately $35 in give or take a few dollars less if there are sales :)
Here's a quick review of each product!
The Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation does the job done! It lasts enough for the school day with the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. However, I found that when I used it with the Benefit Porefessional Primer during prom it lasted ALL night with sweaty oily skin. But for everyday use, I don't use primer. I use the foundation with the powder and it lasts through the day enough for me with some fading, which I don't mind. I've also used this with a another primer which is super cheap and expensive, but I'll do a separate blog post it later! Anyways coverage is awesome and I feel like it can double as a concealer if you put on an extra layer.
The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder works wonders. It doesn't cake or have a light dusty finish. It sets my foundation and mattifies my face perfectly.
As for the Elf Eyebrow Kit, I only use the gel version because the powder is too light for me, but the gel is great! To me, filling brows in is a must since they frame your face!
The Covergirl Lastblast Mascara works great for my short stubby lashes. It lengthens and adds volume and there's no clumping! Although I am on the hunt for a better eyelash curler since the Tweezerman one I am using now is not doing the justice.
Finally, the Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo in Barely Branded is my absolute favorite eye shadow of  all time. I don't need to use primer; just one swipe on my eyelids and I'm done and it adds the prettiest amount of shimmer to your eyes.
